To find the downloaded files, simply right-click and choose "Open folder" or go to the MediaGet settings and check where is the downloads folder.&nbsp;

You can search in 5 categories: movies, serials, cartoons, games, or all. For a detailed search, you should choose the appropriate category. For example, if you want to find a movie, then select the "Movies" category. If you cannot relate a file to a specific category, use "All".&nbsp;

Several reasons might cause the problem of slow download speed.

The catalog is a collection of movies, serials, cartoons, and screenshots of games. If you find a file you need in the catalog, you can start searching this file in MediaGet. Double-click on the file, and you'll jump to the search results. Choose the best variant and click "Download". We do not keep these files on our servers. Our catalog is just a library of summaries.

To enable or disable the auto-start of MediaGet, go to "Settings" and tick or untick "Launch with Windows".&nbsp;

Right-click on the Mediaget icon in the lower right corner of your screen (near the time tray). In a pop-up menu, select "Shutdown" and activate the needed option.&nbsp;

As for the games, you might probably need a ROM drive emulator. If you downloaded a movie, and it does not play (or you see the video without sound), it is likely that you should install a package of codecs.&nbsp;

If this happens, try typing not a full name of a file you need but only a part. Preferably, use keywords. If it does not help, you're probably looking for new content that has not yet been submitted. We recommend you try again later.

You can delete MediaGet as any other program: «Start»→«Programs» →«MediaGet» →«Uninstall MediaGet». Or using Windows «Add or Remove Programs» utility in the Control Panel.

Also, in the old version, we had an issue with unloading MediaGet from memory. So if you can not uninstall it, try to press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, find the mediaget.exe process, and «kill» it. After that, you can delete the program using a standard way.

We do not recommend deleting the program by removing the shortcut «MediaGet» from the desktop, it does not remove the program itself. Also, it's not recommended to delete the program by removing «MediaGet» from the «Program Files» folder. This method does not delete the program completely. There is only one correct way to uninstall MediaGet, described at the beginning of this section.

We assure you that MediaGet does not contain viruses, "worms", "Trojan horses", or any other dangerous things if you download it from our official website. However, some antiviruses such as NOD 32, Kaspersky, and DrWeb, may identify MediaGet as a "dangerous or potentially unwanted software". It happens because any download manager can be used to download a virus from the internet. To provide maximum safety and minimize the risk of infection of our users' computers, we have worked only with verified (certified) websites. Apart from our effort, we recommend downloading files from trusted websites only. All actions of our program are visible, and you can keep track of them. We do not collect or send any personal data stored on your computer. We do not need it. Furthermore, the number of MediaGet users already exceeded 100 million, so any inappropriate activity from our side would already have been known. So, do not worry. Everything is safe!&nbsp;

One of the directions of our work is to help novice users to find files on the internet. So a large number of websites joined us as partners. They allow users to obtain the desired content using our program. After people try MediaGet for the first time, most of them start to use only our app and visit only the websites that have our banners. It's convenient!&nbsp;

Installing these programs helps us to keep MediaGet available for free. However, installing them is not compulsory. Instead, carefully read what's written during the installation dialogs and UNTICK the checkboxes next to the additional programs you don't want to install. This is due to the technology of downloading files. The file is divided into several parts you receive from different users. If a particular part is not coming from a quick source, i.e., this particular part has no seeders, or the source of this part is temporarily unable to transfer the file, you might experience a drop in speed. Therefore, we recommend restarting the program (menu - exit, restart). If you have no changes after this operation, you have to wait for the missing part to appear again (it will depend on the other people who seed the file). If there is still no change over a long time, we recommend searching for other sources using our built-in search engine. Search for the file you want to download using our search engine, and take the file with the highest number of seeders. Such files are marked with five stars in MediaGet.&nbsp;

First, we recommend that you check your internet connection. Check if other programs (browser, Skype) work. Then open MediaGet, go to Transfers, find the file you are willing to download, check the S/P section, and check the existence of seeders (suppliers for the file you want to download). If there are no seeders (0/0), you won't be able to download the file. Please wait till the seeders appear or look for a different file.&nbsp;

Search for the previously downloaded file in downloads history, and make sure that the option "save history" is enabled in settings.&nbsp;

You can stop sharing any file by pressing "Pause" after downloading. It will prevent sharing. Or you can stop the file sharing ultimately: go to the tab "Transfers" → right-click on the file → press "Remove" → select "Remove download from the list."&nbsp;

This problem occurs when the default browser Internet Explorer incorrectly processes the HTML page. We recommend you update your browser to the latest version. Then restart the MediaGet installer.
